Integrations

Intelliflo

Submit documents from Intelliflo Office for compliance review in Bedrock. Review outcomes are written back to the document automatically.

Overview

The Intelliflo integration adds a “Submit to Bedrock” action to the Client Actions menu in Intelliflo Office. Advisers can submit suitability reports, fact finds, and other advice documents for compliance review without leaving Intelliflo. When the review is complete, Bedrock writes the outcome back to the document's properties.

Installation

  1. Open the Intelliflo Store from within Intelliflo Office.
  2. Search for “Bedrock Compliance” and click Install.
  3. During installation, you'll be redirected to Bedrock to link your firm. Log in with your Bedrock firm admin account.
  4. The connection is created automatically — no API keys or configuration needed.

The integration uses Intelliflo's Tenant Client Credentials flow. Bedrock authenticates with its own app credentials and accesses your firm's data only after you install the app. Uninstalling the app from the Intelliflo Store immediately revokes access.

Submitting a document

  1. Navigate to a client record in Intelliflo Office.
  2. Open the Client Actions menu.
  3. Click Submit to Bedrock.
  4. Select the document you want to submit from the list.
  5. Choose the document type from the dropdown (pre-selected based on the document's Intelliflo category).
  6. Click Submit.

Bedrock fetches the document PDF, the client's details, and any vulnerability flags from Intelliflo. A review job is created and routed to a reviewer in Bedrock's reviewer portal.

Write-back

When the reviewer approves, modifies, or rejects the document, Bedrock writes the outcome back to the document's properties in Intelliflo:

json
{
  "bedrock.outcome": "APPROVED",
  "bedrock.reason": "Advice is suitable and well-evidenced",
  "bedrock.reviewedAt": "2026-04-13T19:30:00Z",
  "bedrock.reviewerName": "Jane Smith",
  "bedrock.certificateId": "cert-abc123",
  "bedrock.certificateUrl": "https://verify.bedrockcompliance.co.uk/c/cert-abc123"
}

What data does Bedrock access?

When submitting a document, Bedrock reads the following from Intelliflo via the API (scopes: client_data, client_financial_data):

  • Document metadata — title, category, subcategory, description, tags
  • Document file — the PDF is downloaded via a signed URL
  • Client record — name, date of birth, gender, client category
  • Vulnerability status — whether the client has a recorded vulnerability and its categories

Bedrock does not access financial plans, holdings, fees, income, or any data beyond what is needed for the compliance review.

Uninstalling

Uninstall the app from the Intelliflo Store at any time. Bedrock receives anAppUninstalled webhook and automatically disconnects the integration. Existing review jobs and certificates are preserved in Bedrock's ledger — they are part of the firm's audit trail and are not deleted.
